College students don’t need to sacrifice nutrition when they return to school in the fall.  Returning students often have limited or no meal plan and first-time students deal with limited/unhealthy options.  We’re offering three (3) 30-minute sessions that will cover nutrition basics, best use of a mini-fridge/microwave, how to stock a small kitchen for simple recipes, and healthy grab ‘n go snacks that work in a dorm. Also general wellness and making better choices will be covered. Saturday we will be doing the “Eva Strong” workout, a hero WOD honoring Eva Mireles who was one of two teachers killed at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. She was an avid CrossFitter who regularly attended Shotgun CrossFit in the same county.
